Sourcing Philosophy

We partner with sustainable forestry operations throughout New Zealand and certified international suppliers who meet our ethical standards. Each board is hand-selected for grain character, structural integrity, and natural beauty.

Our timber is kiln-dried to precise moisture content suitable for New Zealand's climate conditions and acclimatised in our Onehunga workshop before crafting begins. We prioritise:

  • FSC-certified and recycled timber sources
  • Local New Zealand suppliers to reduce environmental impact
  • Heritage building salvage for native timbers like Rimu and Kauri
  • Compliance with New Zealand's forestry and import regulations
