Creating furniture of lasting value requires time, care, and collaboration. Here is how we work with you from first conversation to final delivery.
Every project begins with a conversation. We want to understand how you live, what you value, and what role this furniture will play in your daily life.
We can meet at your home to see the space firsthand, or at our Onehunga studio where you can experience our work and materials. This consultation is complimentary and without obligation.
Following our conversation, we develop detailed design drawings that capture your vision. These include dimensions, proportions, and joinery details.
You receive a comprehensive proposal with material specifications and pricing. We refine the design until every detail aligns with your expectations.
With design approved, we select the specific boards for your piece. This is not random; we consider grain direction, colour variation, and how adjacent pieces will complement each other.
For significant commissions, you are welcome to join us in selecting your timber.
Your furniture takes shape over 8 to 16 weeks, depending on complexity. Raw timber is dimensioned, joinery is cut and fitted, surfaces are prepared, and finish is applied in multiple coats.
We share progress updates and welcome workshop visits. Watching your piece come together adds meaning to the finished work.
Final surfaces receive our signature oil and wax treatment, applied by hand and buffed to a soft sheen. Hardware is fitted with precision. Every surface is inspected under raking light.
Nothing leaves our workshop until it meets our exacting standards.
White-glove delivery ensures your furniture arrives in perfect condition. Our team handles placement, levelling, and any final adjustments in your space.
You receive detailed care instructions and our lifetime structural warranty. We remain available for questions and future maintenance.
